What is it used for?
Lyophilised peptides arrive as powder. For laboratory work they are dissolved in bacteriostatic water; the benzyl alcohol inhibits microbial growth and allows the reconstituted solution to be kept refrigerated for several days.
Storage
Store unopened vials cool and dark. Keep opened vials at 2–8 °C, protected from light.
